So, last Friday, I decided I was ready for a change in my hair. This picture is what my hair looked like before I went and got it cut. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with it so I talked to the lady at the salon. She talked to me about donating my hair for locks of love. She even got a ruler out to measure and everything. Turns out, I have a lot of hair, and could donate 10 inches and still have a lot of hair left.
But, I decided that I wasn't quite ready to lose that much hair, so I just got a trim and added more layers in. So this is pretty much what my hair looks like still. I have some shorter layers and I got my bangs cut again, but that is all the change I did this time! What can I say, I love having long hair.
I have been growing my hair out FOR-ev-er. I've always had the intention of donating it to locks of love, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be about a 5 year commitment. I'm game. You're hair is still kickin' mine.

ReplyDeleteYeah...if you were to cut it, I would definitely donate it to Locks of Love. BUT, if you don't want to go drastic, then I would say stick with the long hair. In my humble opinion, there are few things more attractive than well-groomed long hair on a woman.
ReplyDeleteI have been growing my hair and my girls hair out to donate, and we are getting ready to make the cuts in a fwe weeks! If you don't want to do 10 inches, Pantene has a program also, but your hair only has to be 8 inches. After reading how much hair it takes just to make one wig- it takes 6 donation- I thikn we are going to periodically do this. We are all counting down the days to the cutting though- we are all sick of our long hair!
